Emergency Maintenance Procedure
Protecting our tenants and properties is our priority. If you experience an emergency maintenance issue that poses an immediate risk to people or property, please follow the steps below and contact our team as soon as possible.
What is an Emergency Maintenance Issue?
Emergency maintenance refers to repairs that require immediate attention to protect the safety of occupants or prevent significant damage to the property.
Examples include:
- Gas leaks
- Burst water pipes
- Serious roof leaks causing water ingress
- Electrical faults or complete power failure (excluding area-wide outages)
- Sewerage blockages or overflows
- Fire or storm damage
- Broken locks or security issues that make the property unsafe
What Should You Do?
Ensure everyone's safety first. If there is an immediate danger, evacuate the property and contact emergency services on 0438 996 628.
If it is safe to do so, turn off the affected utility (water, gas, or electricity) to minimise further damage.
Contact JCC Realty immediately on 0438 996 628 and provide as much information as possible about the issue.
When reporting an emergency, please include:
- Your name and contact number
- Property address
- Description of the emergency
- Any action you've already taken to minimise damage
